A car valuation is one of the best ways to sell a car quickly. Gumtree Cars’ free car valuation is a vital tool for any online vehicle sale.
A fair market price is the key to making sellers and buyers happy. Once a seller knows how much their car is worth, they can confidently consider any reasonable offer. Likewise, when a buyer is aware of the vehicle’s market value, they will be able to budget accordingly.

The Personal Properties Securities Register, or PPSR, is an official government record of every car registered in Australia. A PPSR report gives buyers information about whether the car is free of security interests (money owing on it), as well as whether it has been written off or stolen.
A PPSR report gives buyers confidence in the sale. If a vehicle has a security interest, that means it could be repossessed, even though someone has bought it in good faith. By letting a potential buyer know that your car is free of security interests – and has not been written off or stolen – it increases their trust in you. And trust is vital when it comes time to sell your car, especially online.
*Important: A PPSR report can only be relied on if dated the day of, or day before, vehicle purchase. You should always obtain a fresh PPSR report on the day you plan to buy a motor vehicle as the status may have changed.
