Overview of the Honda Jazz
In 2002 Honda raised the bar for city-car practicality with its Tardis-like Jazz.
Its monobox five-door form combined with clever flip-folding 'Magic' rear seats and a flat floor to bring unrivalled versatility and interior space.

WHAT TO LOOK OUT FOR: HONDA JAZZ (2014 ONWARDS)
The Jazz seems to be a car that Honda got right. Complaints are few and far between, but there are a couple of checks we'd make before any money changes hands.
The first would be to make sure the park-brake not only holds the car on a hill, but also makes a distinct clicking noise when you apply the brake.
Some earlier models had a manufacturing flaw that saw the ratchet mechanism fail, the park-brake release and the car roll down any hill it was parked on. There's a high likelihood that it was fixed by this stage of the game, but we'd still check it.
The clever interior means that a lot of these cars were used to transport dogs, surfboards, mountain bikes, you name it. So, make sure the interior isn't too badly beaten up.
Finally, there was a recall for these cars built in the 2015 model-year to check a fundamental part in the CVT transmission. If this part broke, the car could either lose drive or experience a front-wheel lock-up. Check with a dealer to ensure the recall has been attended to.
