TOYOTA AURION Used Car Review
Aurion, the Greek word for 'tomorrow', was released in 2006 as the replacement for the US-based Avalon as Toyota's large-car entrant. It was essentially a rebadged and restyled Camry V6, though was only fractionally longer than the four-cylinder Camry and nowhere near as popular. Between 2007 and 2009, there was a supercharged V6 performance model from the short lived TRD (Toyota Racing Development) division. The Aurion nameplate died in 2017 when Toyota ended Australian manufacturing and imported the Camry with both four- and six-cylinder engines.
